ORDERING AND ACCOUNTS

Do I need an account to order?

Yes. Create a free account at messinawholesale.com to access our full product range and place orders. Account creation takes under two minutes and gives you 10% off your first order automatically.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimum order. Products are sold in set bundle quantities as listed on each product page — typically between 5 and 100 items depending on the category — but there is no minimum spend to place an order.

How do I get 10% off my first order?

The 10% discount is applied automatically when you create a new account and place your first order. No discount code required.

Can I order a custom mix of brands or sizes?

Our standard bundles come in pre-set quantities and mixes. If you have a specific requirement — a particular brand focus, size range, or category mix — contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate. Our handpick appointments (both in-person and video) also allow you to select your own stock.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.

GRADING AND STOCK QUALITY

How is the vintage clothing graded?

All stock is hand-inspected and graded before dispatch using a three-tier system:

Grade A — excellent condition. Minor signs of age such as light fading or slight bobbling are expected, but no significant damage. Ready to photograph and list immediately.

Grade B — good condition with minor flaws such as small marks, light stains, or minor wear. Priced accordingly. Suitable for resellers comfortable pricing to reflect condition.

Grade C — visible wear. Suitable for buyers who rework, upcycle, or sell at lower price points.

Each product listing clearly states the grade so you know exactly what you are buying before checkout.

What does Grade A/B mean?

Some listings specify a mixed Grade A/B. This means the bundle contains a blend of near-perfect pieces alongside items with more visible wear. The split is approximately 60/40 A to B unless otherwise stated in the product description.

How do you grade branded pieces — do you check authenticity?

Yes. All branded pieces pass through our grading process which includes an authenticity check. Logo condition, print integrity, label generation, and construction quality are all assessed. Every item we sell is genuine pre-owned secondhand clothing — nothing is reproduced or fake.

What happens if I receive an item below the stated grade?

Contact us directly with your order number and we will resolve it. Our grading is carried out by an experienced team and inconsistencies are rare, but where they occur we take them seriously.

SHIPPING AND DISPATCH

How fast do you dispatch?

99% of orders placed before 11am Monday to Friday are dispatched same day. Orders placed after 11am or over the weekend are dispatched the next working day.

How long does UK delivery take?

UK orders typically arrive within 1 to 2 business days after dispatch via tracked courier. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has left our warehouse.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. International shipping times vary by destination — typically 3 to 7 business days for Europe and 5 to 14 business days for the rest of the world. Import duties, taxes, and customs fees may apply for orders outside the UK and are the responsibility of the buyer.

How are orders packaged?

Orders are packed securely in strong cardboard boxes, clearly labelled, and sent with a tracked courier. Bundle quantities are packed to the stated count before dispatch.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

What is your returns policy?

We accept return requests submitted within 21 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be returned in the same condition and original packaging as received. Opened bundles and items that have been sorted through are not eligible for return.

How do I start a return?

Email us at admin@messinahembry.com with your order number and reason for return. We will respond within one business day. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Once we receive and inspect the returned goods, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 working days.

What brands do you stock?

We regularly stock Carhartt, Levi's, Ralph Lauren, The North Face, Lacoste, Wrangler, Harley Davidson, Dickies, Nike, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Lee, Champion, Reebok, and more. Stock rotates regularly as new arrivals land weekly. Browse our branded collections to see what is currently available.

What eras does your stock come from?

The majority of our stock is from the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s. Some categories extend further back or more recently depending on sourcing availability. Era is noted in individual product descriptions where relevant.

How often does stock update?

New stock arrives and is added to the site weekly. Sign up for restock alerts on individual product pages to be notified when specific categories or brands land.

What are reseller boxes and how are they different from bundles?

Reseller boxes are curated by theme, brand, or aesthetic — they are selected to maximise resale potential for a specific buyer demographic (for example, the Y2K box is curated for Depop womenswear sellers, the gorpcore box for outdoor-aesthetic buyers). Standard bundles are category or brand-led without the additional curation layer. Both are graded before dispatch. See the full reseller box range.

What is a handpick appointment?

A handpick appointment lets you select your own stock from our warehouse rather than ordering a pre-set bundle. You can book either an in-person appointment at our warehouse or a video handpick where our team walks you through the stock on camera and you select what you want in real time.
